Type locality: Mitwaba, DRC
Diagnosis
Restricted to Katanga, the male is the only Allocnemis species that combines (1) pale yellow labrum; (2) posterior mesepimeron with pale dot below humeral sture; (3) anterior side of tibiae whitish; (3) anal vein terminates well distal to node, about 7-12 cells beyond quadrilateral; (4) dorsum of S9-10 and cerci orange; (5) cerci extend just beyond paraprocts. Habitat description
Mostly headwater streams, but also larger streams, shaded by gallery (and possbly extensive) forest. Probably often with blackwater and coarse detritus. From 1400 to 1700 m above sea level, but possibly down to 1200.
