Diagnosis
Male is the only Allocnemis species that combines (1) all black labrum; (2) anal vein that ends already at distal border of quadrilateral; (3) tibiae yellow, anterior side of fore and mid pair darkened; (4) dorsum of S9-10 and cerci blue; (5) cerci extend just beyond paraprocts. Habitat description
Mostly seeps and springs, but also headwater streams, shaded by forest. Usually with coarse detritus and mostly a soft (like muddy) bottom. From 0 to 900 m above sea level.
