Diagnosis

Habitat description

Standing and often temporary waters, mostly in open areas in forest. Often with blackwater, emergent and aquatic vegetation, and probably a sandy and/or soft (like muddy) bottom. From 300 to 600 m above sea level.

confirmed: Central African Republic; Congo-Brazzaville; Democratic Republic of the Congo; Gabon
