Type locality: Fernando Po (= Bioko), Equatorial Guinea

Diagnosis

No diagnosis of this species close to A. nigridorsum is presently available and the limits with that species deserve study. Please refer to the references provided.

Habitat description

Standing and often temporary waters, mostly in open areas in forest. Often with emergent and usually aquatic vegetation. From 0 to 2000 m above sea level.

confirmed: Cameroon; Congo-Brazzaville; Equatorial Guinea; Gabon
